12 WEEKS · LIVE · PARENT + ATHLETE · STARTS SEPTEMBER 14
TO DEVELOP THE HIGHEST-LEVEL ATHLETE, DEVELOP YOUR HOME TEAM.
Great athletes are not built alone. They are built by a team that knows how to win together, long before anyone is watching. Twelve weeks, live, parent and athlete side by side, building the habits they will run on their own the day they walk onto a college campus.
12 weeks · Live group calls Wednesdays, 6 PM PT · Parent and athlete together, one price · Normally $1,197
BUILD OUR HOME TEAMEvery Athlete Has Two Teams.
One of them practices in a gym for a sport.
The other one eats dinner together, argues about screen time, drives home after the loss, and decides what happens at 6:30 on a Tuesday morning.
Only one of those teams is with them every single day. Only one of them is still there when the season ends. And it is the one nobody ever trains. This is your Home Team.
Your Home Team Is The Most Important Team Your Athlete Will Ever Be On.
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
You’re Doing Everything. It Still Feels Like Guessing.
You drive to every practice. You pay for the gear, the camps, the tournaments, the trainer. You rearrange the whole week around a schedule someone else made.
And underneath it all, there is a question nobody has answered for you.
“What is my actual job here?”
Everyone says be supportive. Nobody tells you what that looks like on a Tuesday night when everybody is tired, dinner isn’t made, and the game was rough.
“Are we helping, or adding pressure?”
You want to say the right thing in the car. Half the time you say nothing because you are scared of saying the wrong thing. Silence has its own weight.
“We’re all going different directions.”
One person is handling the schedule. One is handling the money. One is handling the sport. Nobody is handling the team. It works — right up until it doesn’t.
“The joy is leaking out of this.”
It started out fun. Now it feels like a second job for the whole family. And there is a day coming you don’t want to think about, when your kid says they don’t want to do this anymore.
Here is what almost nobody says out loud. The most important part of your athlete’s development is not happening at practice. It is happening at home. And no one has ever handed a family a playbook for that.
AND IT GETS HARDER
The Longer You Wait, the More It Costs.
Not in money. In time you don’t get back.
TIME.
Every season is busier than the last. The travel gets longer, the practices get later, the homework gets heavier. Nobody ever wakes up to a week with more room in it. If your family is going to build something, it gets built inside a full week or it doesn’t get built at all.
MONEY.
You have already spent it. Camps, private lessons, gear, gas, hotels, tournaments. All of it aimed at the two hours a day someone else controls, and none of it aimed at the twenty-two hours a day you do.
NOBODY IS TEACHING THIS.
There is a coach for the sport. A trainer for the body. A tutor for the grades. There is no one for the team at home. So families figure it out by trial and error, in real time, on their only kid, during the only childhood they get.
So the season runs you instead of the other way around. Sleep slips. Food becomes whatever is fast. The good conversations get replaced by logistics. And the sport... the thing that was supposed to bring everybody closer, quietly becomes the thing everyone is tense about.
I know that picture because I have watched it happen to families who were doing everything right. They were not short on love or effort. They were short on a plan.
Then I Noticed Something About the Athletes Who Lasted.
The ones who kept getting better. The ones who still loved it at seventeen. The ones who went on to compete in college and did not fall apart in the first semester.
They were not always the most talented ones at twelve.
They came from homes that operated like teams. Shared standards. A way of talking after a loss. Habits that ran without anybody nagging. A vision that was bigger than one game.
Nobody in those houses was acting as a second coach. They were acting as a team. That is a completely different thing and it turns out it is teachable.
MEET YOUR GUIDE
Coach David Sabi
I have spent a lot of time around athletes, and for a long time I believed what most parents believe. Development belonged to the coaches. The family’s job was to show up, drive, and cheer.
Then I started watching it from the inside.
I saw talented kids burn out at fifteen. I saw families come apart over a game that was supposed to be fun. And I saw the other thing too... the athletes who kept going, who grew into strong people, who handled college well and everything after it. They all had the same thing in common, and it was not their sport. It was habits and systems they learned from home.
That is when it clicked for me. The highest-level athlete is not produced by the highest-level training. They are produced by the strongest team around them. And the first team, the one that matters most and lasts longest, is the one at home.
So I built the Home Team Advantage. The BIG4. The Power5. The simple systems any busy family can actually run in a normal week.
Not to turn you into a coach. Your athlete already has one of those. To build the team they come home to.
WHERE THIS IS ALL HEADED
The Real Deadline Isn’t Signing Day. It’s Move-In Day.
Picture the first week of college.
MOST FRESHMEN
Nobody is waking them up. Nobody is making the food. Nobody is telling them when to go to bed, when to stretch, when to study, when to stop.
Lifting is at 6 a.m. Class is at 8. Practice is in the afternoon. There is a paper due, a road trip Friday, and a whole floor of new people who are up until 2 in the morning.
They try to figure all of it out at once. In season, at full speed, a thousand miles from home. That is why so many of them have a rough first year. It was never a talent problem. Nobody ever made them run the whole thing themselves before it counted.
YOUR ATHLETE
They walk in already knowing what a real training week feels like. They know how they recover. They know what they eat before a game and what happens when they don’t.
They know their own warning signs. They know how to communicate to a coach. They know what to do after a bad performance, because they have a routine for it and they built it themselves.
They are not figuring it out. They are running a system they have practiced for years.
That is what these twelve weeks are for. We take the things a college athlete has to do alone and we practice them at home, together, while there is still a team in the room. They will know what it takes. And they will have already done it.
This works whether your athlete is eight or eighteen. The earlier you start, the more reps they get before they leave.
IMAGINE
What Your Season Looks Like Twelve Weeks From Now.
The car ride home is the best part again. You both know how it goes, because you agreed on it together. Nobody is guessing.
The week runs itself. Sleep, food, training, recovery, school. Not perfect, but it has a shape, and everybody knows the shape.
Your athlete owns their own habits. You stop reminding them. They stop needing it. That is not you letting go, that is them taking hold.
The house has a standard, not a mood. How this family handles a loss doesn’t depend on who is in a bad mood that night.
A bad game is a Tuesday, not a crisis. Because you have a routine for it and you have run it before.
You are closer. That is the part families do not expect. You went through something together on purpose, and it changed how you talk.
And the sport gets better too. That is not the trade-off — that is the point. A settled athlete with a strong team behind them trains better, recovers better, and lasts longer than a talented one who is running on fumes.
THIS PAGE IS FOR BOTH OF YOU
Read Your Half. Then Hand Them the Phone.
TO THE PARENT
YOU’RE NOT BECOMING A COACH.
You will not be given drills. You will not be sent home with a training program to run. Your athlete already has someone for that.
You are being asked to do the thing only you can do, build the team. Set the standards. Hold the vision. Make home the place your athlete gets better and gets the full recovery at the same time.
And you get to be an athlete in this too. You will be doing the work right beside them, not supervising it. That is what makes it land.
TO THE ATHLETE
YOU’RE NOT IN TROUBLE. YOU’RE BEING RECRUITED.
This is not your parents signing you up to get fixed.
For twelve weeks you get to say what you actually need, out loud, to the people who can do something about it. You build your own week. Your own recovery. Your own routine after a bad game. Yours... not one handed to you.
And you walk away with something most players your age do not have. You will know exactly how you operate. So when you leave home and nobody is running your day for you, you will already know what to do. Most of the people around you won’t.
In the Home Team, everyone is an athlete and everyone leads. That is not a slogan. It is how the twelve weeks are built.

ALIGN
WEEK 2

DEVELOP
WEEKS 3–6
The BIG4: Physical, Mental, Emotional, & Social. The four areas every athlete grows in, built one week at a time so they actually stick.
RECOVER
WEEKS 7–9
Protect the energy and protect the relationship. Recovery, communication, the post-game agreement, and what the parent’s real role is.
THRIVE
WEEKS 10–12
Confidence, identity, and a long-term plan that outlasts the season — and outlasts the day they move out.

THE ROOM
In the Home Team, Everyone Is an Athlete.
This is not a parenting class you attend while your kid plays video games in the other room. Your athlete is on the call with you. You both participate. You both do the work.
That is the whole point. A team does not get stronger when one person goes to practice.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF:
- You have a young athlete, roughly ages 8 to 18, and you want to build the team around them instead of adding another coach
- You want your athlete leaving home one day already knowing how to run their own week
- You want the car ride home to feel close instead of tense
- You are willing to show up live on Wednesday nights for twelve weeks
- You want a plan, not more pressure
THIS ISN’T FOR YOU IF:
- You are looking for skills training, drills, or anything sport-specific — that is your athlete’s coach’s job, not mine
- You want to send your kid to be fixed while you watch
- You cannot make the live calls a priority

THE SHOW UP TWICE GUARANTEE
COME TO TWO CALLS. THEN DECIDE.
Come to the first two calls. Do the work with your athlete. If your family is not better off for having been in the room, tell me before call three and I will refund you every dollar. I would rather have the right families in Squad 1 than a full one.
NOW IT’S TIME FOR THE…
Closing Argument
Your athlete’s window is open right now.
It opened the first time they competed and it closes when their playing days end — and no one gets to know in advance which season is the last one. Inside that window there is an enormous amount of learning available. About effort, pressure, failure, recovery, and who they are when it gets hard.
Most families spend the whole window managing logistics and hoping the lessons land on their own.
You can spend twelve weeks of it building the team instead.
Twelve weeks from now, your athlete either has a system they built and can run without you — or they are still relying on you to run it, right up until the day they can’t. That day is coming either way. Move-in day does not wait for anybody to be ready.
The window closes. The team does not. Long after the last game, you will still be this kid’s home team.
Let’s make it a good one.
